Description
All-in-one super food includes all the foods, vitamins, and minerals your juvenile or breeding female iguana needs. This all-natural food is made with human-grade ingredients and completes the nutritional value of vegetables.Uromastyx Dust was developed and designed to utilize balanced, natural, whole foods as its primary ingredients so that it can be fed without reserve. The VF foods are dusts designed to be mixed with green leafy vegetables in a "shake and bake" fashion. The dust is a whole, complete and balanced food and provides much more nutritional value than the vegetables they are dusted on. The greens basically become the delivery system for the dust. It is designed not to balance the greens as the ICB does the cricket, but to be a complete food that could even be used with iceberg lettuce to provide complete nutrition for your animal. It allows the keeper to use "whatever greens are in the fridge" and makes it easier for most people to provide balanced nutrition for their reptiles. It can be dusted on greens in liberal amounts. It can also be mixed with water and made into a "dressing" that can be "tossed" into greens as in making a Caesar's Salad.
This is not a supplement, but a balanced diet that satisfies all of your tortoise's nutritional requirements. It is designed to be used in combination with green leafy vegetables. When used with every feeding, no additional supplementation is necessary.
Feeding Directions
Rinse vegetables and either sprinkle Uromastyx Dust VF over the top liberally, or put vegetables in a plastic bag or container along with Tortoise Dust and mix in a "shake and bake" manner. Tortoise Dust is a complete food and is designed to be used at every feeding. The more you use it the better.This package contains an oxygen absorber packet that removes oxygen to less than 0.1%, decreasing oxidation and preserving the freshness of the product. This product, unopened, should have a shelf life of at least five years. Once opened, contents should be consumed within six months. Refrigeration will extend freshness of product after opening.
